Color pencils, brushes and papers.
I’m looking for the best way to color my illustrations on my new blog Une année sans alcool (A year without a drink).
In this week’s post, I used Faber-Castell color pencils and Plate Bristol paper from Strathmore, 500 series. Then, I scanned the drawing and added layers in Photoshop for snow and outside light effect.
Today, I tried using the same color pencils but with Velum Bristol paper from Strathmore, 500 series.
Then, I used the same paper but this time with watercolor pencils. I then painted the illustration with water.
Which style do you prefer? Please, let me know by leaving a comment or sending me an email.
P.S. I wish my scanner did a better job at rendering the exact colors.
